DFMC looks ahead, at strengthening its leadership position in the bedding industry and exceeding customer expectations with its constant focus on quality and innovations.

Year 1993:

DFMC was formed in the Year 1993 for manufacturing and marketing King Koil brand of luxury bedding under license from King Koil, USA. Ever since its inception, DFMC had been using marketing acumen and state-of-the-art manufacturing capabilities to become the brand leader in the mattress industry in the Middle East. Its constant endeavor to keep up the virtues of Quality, Service, Product Innovation and Technology assured the No.1 position in the industry.

Year 2001:

DFMC acquired the license for marketing and manufacturing Serta products in the Middle East in 2001, from Serta Inc., USA. Serta is the world’s largest mattress company – and the addition of this ultra-premium brand strengthened the leadership position of DFMC in the Middle East.

Year 2002:

DFMC entered the retailing business by establishing company-owned showrooms in all the markets which has become the backbone of the company.

Year 2004:

DFMC established its own foam manufacturing base in Dubai for captive consumption.

Year 2005:

DFMC shifted from a leased manufacturing facility to its own custom made facility with 200,000 sq.ft area which is the most modern plant in the Middle East & India.

Year 2009:

DFMC launched Specialty Bedding Accessories brand ‘Comfort Solutions by King Koil’. For the first time, an innovative and successful concept catering exclusively to bedding accessories was created and executed in the Middle East.

Year 2011:

Emirates Sleep Systems Pvt. Ltd. (ESPL) was launched, a fully owned subsidiary company of DFMC in India. ESPL caters to Serta branded products in India and has established franchise model for retail operations with outlets in Pune, Delhi, Gurgaon, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Surat and outlets planned to open soon in Indore & Dehradun. ESPL has major expansion plans in India and has also established a secure online shopping system, which has brought selected exclusive mattress grades just a click away.

Year 2016:

Arabian Bedding Trading LLC (ABT) was launched. A 100% subsidiary company of DFMC in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) with a full-fledged manufacturing facility in Riyadh. ABT manufactures & markets Serta and KingKoil branded products in KSA. It has also opened Serta branded company showrooms in Riyadh and Al Khobar and has plans to open many more showrooms in KSA in the near future.

Year 2019:

DFMC opened Serta’s flagship store in the world’s largest Mall “The Dubai Mall”.

Year 2020:

DFMC, Dubai established a sister concern company in Egypt. DFMC, Egypt is a 100% subsidiary company of DFMC, Dubai to manufacture and market Serta and King Koil brand of products in Egypt.

Year 2022:

DFMC established bath and bed linen division to cater to hospitality market in the Middle-east and bagged 2 major hospitality projects for Bed & Bath Linen namely Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah & Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah in Dubai

Year 2023:

Dubai Furniture Manufacturing Co. LLC (DFMC) completes 30 years of providing sleep solutions to Millions of homes in the Middle least. To commemorate this historical feet DFMC organized an event at the Taj Exotica Resort & Spa in Dubai which was attended by the who’s who of the Mattress industry including Dealers, Suppliers, Staff & Media. To memorialize 30 years of excellence & success, DFMC launched new product lines under Serta and King Koil: The Serta Arctic line and The King Koil Intimate range.

Year 2024:

On May 2024, DFMC announced its new partnership as the exclusive distributor of renowned La-Z-Boy branded products in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This strategic collaboration brought together two industry leaders dedicated to providing unparalleled comfort, quality, and innovation in the furniture market.
